This romantic Hobbit-style cottage rental has a secret wooded trail which leads to the premier winery on the Shawnee Hills wine trail in Illinois. The fabulous glamping getaway can sleep up to two guests and comes with an arched opening between the living room and bedroom, allowing guests to view the beautiful fully-vented gas fireplace from their plush king-size bed. Guests will enjoy nine-foot ceilings, arched walls, rich colors, and romantic dimmable lighting in this unique and spacious one-bedroom cottage. It also offers a luxurious, cozy, and romantic ambiance.

Sun tunnels cast natural light in the living room, kitchen, and roomy bathroom. There are also round windows and wood detailing throughout the cottage. The king-size bed comes with a comfort core mattress, while guests also have a power recline leather loveseat and a bathroom with an all-ceramic five-foot glass shower. There is also a private covered patio with a four-person outdoor hot tub.

There is high-efficiency air conditioning and heating with separate thermostats for each side of the cottage. A gas grill with propane will be provided, as well as a washing machine and a dryer. Guests will also have a fully-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, a freezer, a five-burner gas stove, and a coffeemaker with fresh coffee beans and creamer. Glampers can make a wide array of meals with the provided microwave, crock pot, waffle maker, and toaster. In addition, there are utensils, pots, pans, glasses, and dishware. Guests will also have a spice rack and a salt and pepper grinder. Glampers will love the 100% Egyptian and Turkish cotton spa robes for even more pampering while the cozy gas fireplace and an outdoor fire pit mean they can get cozy both indoors and out in the stunning surroundings.

For entertainment, guests will find a 40" LED television and a BOSE sound dock speaker system. The BOSE is set with an auxiliary input which lets guests play other audio sources, such as a portable DVD player, CDs, or an MP3 player.

Stays including Friday and Saturday, or four days or longer, will receive complimentary local free-range farm fresh eggs and bakery treats. Guests will be provided with the basics including a supply of soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. High-end linens and towels are also provided.

Guests will enjoy having a luxurious hot tub as well as fluffy 100% Turkish cotton spa robes, perfect for cozying up after a soak. There are also fresh, locally roasted coffee beans ready to grind and brew.

The host will have some firewood available for a nice fire, but do not supply the kindling. Guests might want to bring a Duralog or some other type of kindling. If glampers plan on making more than one fire, they should bring an additional supply. The firewood pile is set near the strip of woods northeast of the Creole house and southeast of the Hobbit.

This host please asks that guests clean up any spills and take their kitchen trash out to the covered trash bin. No loose trash is allowed in the big garbage bin outside.

Cell service is dependent on guests' provider and exactly where they are in the area. The Creole sits highest on the property so it gets the best cell service. The Cove is set into a hill and a little lower but it still has decent cell service. If guests really want to relax and disconnect, the Hollow is the ideal cabin because it is in a hollow and it is mostly underground meaning cell service inside is almost non-existent. The hosts usually have to go outside a few feet to make phone calls. Texting works in the bedroom.

The use of any soap products, lotions, or oils could damage the Jacuzzi. Should any damage occur or if the hosts have to do an unscheduled complete water change, guests' credit cards will be charged accordingly to either clean or repair the Jacuzzi.

If glampers are physically impaired and have a difficult time carrying wood, let the hosts know and they will try to lay some wood next to the fire pit.
