This lovely vacation rental in the Mississippi Valley in Elizabeth, Illinois, can accommodate up to six guests at a time. The rental comes with two larger rooms, one smaller room, and two full bathrooms. Each of the bedrooms are furnished with a luxurious queen-size bed and have access to private bathrooms, each including a standing shower, a toilet, a sink, and provided linens.

The rental is located on the second floor of the bed and breakfast, allowing guests access to their own kitchen and deluxe living area furnished with a polished hardwood dining table, a seating area, and a stone fireplace under the mantle. The upper-level deck is ideal for eating breakfast or dinner outside, with excellent views of the mountains and treetops beyond the accommodation visible from the rental’s perch on the hill. There is also a furnished patio under a trellis on the ground level which comes with a BBQ grill and a fire pit.

The property is covered in rose bushes and lush trees, with a balcony overlooking the stunning Mississippi Valley to the west. In Galena, which is known for its historic homes and location near the Mississippi River, guests will find a medley of restaurants, cafes, and eateries to try, as well as boutiques, art galleries, wineries, distilleries, and spas to visit during their stay.

The town is also home to Chestnut Mountain Resort, where guests can ski and snowboard in the winter time. Dubuque, Illinois, is located about 20 minutes further west, which boasts a wide selection of restaurants as well as outdoor parks, botanic gardens, a riverwalk, and plenty of natural attractions to see in the valley around the river.
