This charming bed and breakfast is situated on two acres of private land in the rolling hills of Jo Daviess County, about 25 minutes outside of Galena, Illinois. The property is covered in rose bushes and lush trees, with a balcony overlooking the stunning Mississippi Valley to the west. In Galena, which is known for its historic homes and location near the Mississippi River, guests will find a medley of restaurants, cafes, and eateries to try, as well as boutiques, art galleries, wineries, distilleries, and spas to visit during their stay.

The town is also home to Chestnut Mountain Resort, where guests can ski and snowboard in the winter time. Dubuque, Illinois, is located about 20 minutes further west, which boasts a wide selection of restaurants as well as outdoor parks, botanic gardens, a riverwalk, and plenty of natural attractions to see in the valley around the river.
