Glamping in Illinois and the best Lake of Egypt vacation rentals

This gorgeous Illinois treehouse built beneath an oak tree and two tall pines is the perfect escape from the city. While enjoying a stay in Illinois, guests will have a queen bedroom on the main floor and a trap door to downstairs with three twin beds. The bathroom has a rock river set in the floor, a glass shower door where the rock tile continues, and an interesting sink made from a flowerpot and an old set of drawers.

The living area comes with a sofa bed and a full kitchen while there is a large deck on the front and beautiful sunsets to enjoy while grilling or sitting around the fire pit. The bucket pulley on the back deck is 20 feet up and outside the kitchen window is an herb garden for gourmet cooking while inside there is a Cuisinart ice cream maker. The hosts always have sugar, but guests should make sure they bring cream and their favorite toppings and look up recipes for their favorite ice cream!

Outside, the hosts have a huge yard with a fire pit with the wood included. A peaceful hammock is perfect for napping under the Illinois treehouse and guests may see deer wander through the yard and they will see lots of birds. The hosts also provide fishing poles and two mountain bikes.

The hosts also have a canoe, a kayak, paddleboards, and a paddleboat that is shared with other guests and there is a dock for your boats to swim off of.
