This beautifully furnished barn rental near Metropolis can sleep up to eight guests and is the perfect countryside getaway for those looking to escape busy city life. The barn is a 1600 square foot retreat with three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. In total, the barn contains two sets of bunk beds, two twin beds, and a plush queen-size bed. Linens and towels are kindly provided by the hosts.

Decorated with light woods and rustic furniture, guests will have plenty of space to spread out and relax. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with everything guests will need to cook up some delicious meals and there is plenty of seating space at the large wooden dining table. Other handy amenities include internet connection, a television set, a washer and dryer, and air conditioning.

Outside, guests are sure to want to explore this gorgeous farm and glampers also have several lovely patio areas with seating where they can enjoy a cold drink as the sun sets on another fantastic Illinois evening.

On this property, guests will find a gorgeous windmill, several ponds perfect for fishing, gardens, beekeeping units, and walking trails through the woods. Limited trailer parking is available for self-contained units.

This farm was a participating member of the 2015 class, "Growing a New Generation of Illinois Fruit and Vegetable Farmers," a year-long class funded by the University of Illinois. The 2015 garden produced summer and winter squash, pumpkins, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce. In 2017, a major goal of this property was to participate more fully in sustainable living initiatives, including beekeeping and vegetable growing.
