Nestled in southern Illinois in the Giant City State Park, the cabin has plenty of nature-based activities to choose from. The River to River Trail, a 160-mile hiking and equestrian trail, services the state park and is available year-round to hikers. To the west is Cedar Lake, a four-square-mile reservoir that is known for fishing, swimming, and boating. Additionally, there is Little Grassy Lake to the east, which is similar in size and available activities. On the property, residents can go hunting if they obtain a special arrangement with leases.
