The cabin is composed of three floors, with the bedroom at the top, where guests will find the bed, a desk, some drawers, and a lovely little window to let the light in, providing magnificent views of the woodland around. Downstairs, guests will find the living area, with a shelf full of books and beautiful chairs to read in. On the ground floor is the the fully-equipped kitchen, where guests have everything they need to prepare themselves delicious home-cooked food. There is also a wood-burning fireplace, keeping the cabin toasty during the cold winter months.

There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation, with miles of hiking and biking trails to be found, as well as kayaking and canoeing on the Upper Iowa River. In the city of Decorah, which is located just seven miles from the accommodation, guests can eat at any one of the many great restaurants if they don't feel like cooking in the aforementioned kitchen.
