The campground has plenty of activities for entertainment including a large shared swimming pool and a games room with a pool table. Famous for its Old West history, Dodge City is known as the "Cowboy Capital" and celebrates its frontier past with a recreated Old West street, gunfight re-enactments, and historic buildings, like the former Fort Dodge jail. Visitors can tour the district by trolley or by taking the Dodge City Trail of Fame walking tour. There is a distillery producing handcrafted spirits, all locally sourced, milled, distilled, and bottled from local farms. Other activities include fishing, hunting, and family water parks.
