This rustic custom built family cabin is located in the Manistee National Forest in Manistee, Michigan and can accommodate up to 10 guests. There are three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with custom-made Amish furniture and has a king size bed, a large television with satellite cable and a DVD player, access to its own master bathroom and is located on the second floor. The second bedroom also has a king size bed and a large television. The third bedroom has two twin size beds. The first full bathroom is located within the master bedroom. Here, guests will find a toilet, a sink, a shower, and a luxurious whirlpool bathtub. The second bathroom is on the first floor and has a toilet, a sink, and a shower. In the half bathroom, guests will find a toilet and a sink. Linens and towels are provided.

There is a cozy sun-room with a desk and a sofa which can be pulled out into a full-size bed. In the living room, guests will find a sofa, two armchairs, a large television with satellite cable and a DVD player built into the stone face of the gorgeous custom fireplace. Off the living room, there is a dining area which has a large table and a breakfast bar with stools. The spacious fully equipped custom designed kitchen comes with a large refrigerator, an oven, a stove, a toaster, a coffee maker, a garbage disposal, and a microwave. Other amenities include air conditioning and heating, a washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, a telephone, Wi-Fi, satellite television, a fax, a scanner, a copier, and a hairdryer.

Outside, guests will find thousands of acres of undisturbed land and access to the Manistee National Forest. On the charming front porch, there is a porch swing and rocking chairs where guests can enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the breathtaking views. In the backyard, there is a gas grill and a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs where guests can spend nights roasting marshmallows under the stars.

This is the perfect place to spend a family vacation in Michigan. Guests will marvel at the gorgeous handcrafted main staircase, the unique antler chandelier, and the custom-made Amish furniture. There is a whirlpool bathtub in the master bathroom where guests can relax after a long day of hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding.

Whether guests are enjoying the fireplace in the living room, having a snack in the dining room, or cooking dinner in the kitchen, the open plan of the first floor allows for everyone to be together. Guests can stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi, a telephone, and satellite cable. Air conditioning and heating make it possible for this rustic cabin to be enjoyed all year round. There is a gas grill where guests can cook dinner out in the fresh air. In the backyard, guests can spend nights all together around the firepit, under the stars.

The property is surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest making it the perfect place for guests to hike and explore. There is a multitude of exciting activities in the surrounding areas which can be enjoyed all year long. The charming city of Manistee offers a variety of activities such as walking along the river, a day at the beach, fine dining, visiting the historic North Pierhead Lighthouse, and wine tasting at the Douglas Valley Winery.

For a fun night out, guests can visit the Little River Casino which is also located in Manistee. Guests can spend the day sunbathing, swimming, and exploring at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park which offers sandy beaches, bluffs that tower over Lake Michigan, beautiful forests, and crystal clear inland lakes. The Tippy Dam is the perfect place to fish for salmon, steelhead, and brown trout on the Manistee River. Big water charter fishing can be arranged on Lake Michigan with Michigan Sport Fishing Company.

All winter sports can be enjoyed at either Crystal Mountain Ski Resort or Caberfae Peaks Ski Resort. The Big "M" Trail is a loop trail system that offers a 25-mile mountain biking and hiking trail, and an 18-mile cross-country skiing trail. The Marzinski Horseback Riding Trail also cross the Big "M" trail for guests who enjoy riding. Golfers can show off their skills at Arcadia Bluffs, one of the top ten golf courses in the country.
