Washed ashore of the Kalamazoo River, just a short paddle from its mouth onto Lake Michigan, is this waterfront vacation rental near Saugatuck, just outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan. There is space here for up to seven happy glampers to have a scenic getaway, with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on 2,000 square feet of space. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom, while the remaining bedrooms have a queen-size bed, two singles, and a trundle bed between them. Linens and towels are kindly provided by the host.
The comfy living room boasts a 60-inch HDTV, equipped with a Blu-ray player, as well as a cable connection, and a fireplace, making it a great place to kick back with the family after visiting nearby Saugatuck or boating and fishing on the river. A fully-equipped kitchen has all the modern accessories guests need to prepare themselves delicious home-cooked food, which can be enjoyed on an elegant dining table.
Outside, an 800-square-foot cedar deck boasts a Weber grill for evening cook-outs as the sun sets, and the cherry on the cake is the luscious spa hot tub and private pool, both of which are great for relaxing in, and have great views over the river.
Guests bringing boats will have access to four cleats at the sea wall, for vessels under 30 feet in length. Air conditioning and heating will keep things cozy all year round, and a rustic fireplace adds extra atmosphere. Linens and towels are provided by the hosts, as are a washer and a dryer.
