This wonderful glamping site is located on the East Bay of Lake Michigan, right in between the lovely towns of Traverse City and Petoskey (about a 40-minute drive from each and 15 minutes south of Charlevoix), and it sits at the base of the Bay View Wine Trail for the glamping oenophile's enjoyment.

Guests will be as close to the water without getting wet in this A-frame surrounded by beautifully wooded natural areas. Along with all sorts of bird watching (think loons, seagulls, ducks, blue jays, oriels, and the occasional swan family), guests can feed the resident bunny rabbits and get plenty of opportunities to see deer and turkey when in season. Guests may even spot the bobcat who recently moved in (most likely due to the bunny rabbits).

Views of the Fox Islands and the Northport Lighthouse can be seen directly across the bay. After watching the sun paint a different color for guests every evening on the large lakeside deck, they will have their own private dark sky to enjoy by the campfire. The cabin is within range of several day trip destinations including the areas of Bellaire with it's famous brewery, Central Lake, Elk Rapids, and East Jordan. Torch Lake public access is right around the corner (made famous by the Kid Rock song "All Summer Long"). While guests may enjoy the solitude of a lakeside getaway, there are numerous restaurants and stores in the area, offering the perfect mix of country zen and urban living.
