Other points of interest in the forest include Iargo Springs, the Lumberman's Monument, the River Road National Scenic Byway, and the Highbanks River Trail, the last two of which follow along the banks of the Au Sable River, a designated trout stream that is a popular destination for fishing, tubing, kayaking, and canoeing.
