Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable whole-venue rental for your next retreat, conference, or mindful family reunion. This glamping site is located in Manchester, MI just 25 minutes from Ann Arbor. Between our Common House, 6 off-grid cabins, and BYO tent camping, the property can accommodate between 13 and 20 people overnight. Our pricing and bed availability change from winter to summer, so please contact us for an accurate rate based on what season you're looking to book.
This listing is for a Whole Venue Rental. You'll have EXCLUSIVE access to the common house and sleeping cabins. Our onsite caretakers will be there to support you in any way. Parking is free. Carts are available to haul your bags to your cabin or camp spot.
PLEASE NOTE: We are an alcohol-free venue
PLEASE NOTE that cabins are single-sleeping rooms, and DO NOT have electricity, in their bathrooms, shower, or kitchen. (The Common House does).
WALKING NOTE: It is a 2-minute walk to solar-powered composting toilets or a 5-10-minute walk to shared indoor bathroom/shower/kitchen facilities. Nov-April parking is located in the Common House Parking Lot. (5-10 minute walk to cabins) May-Oct guests may park in the Lower Green Parking Lot (2-5 minutes to cabins). In certain circumstances, you can drive your car directly to your cabin to drop off gear. (please contact us before doing so).
CAMPFIRE NOTE: Cabins/Tent spots do NOT have their own campfire ring. We have two campfire rings down by the pond, available on a first-come-first-serve basis (additional portable campfire rings are available by request).
FIRE SAFETY GUIDELINES:
- Do not make a fire on windy or gusty days
- Do not leave fires unattended
- No fires allowed outside of designated fire pits
- Empty buckets for extinguishing campfires (using pond water) are located next to the fire pit and extras may be available in the Supplies Cabin on the opposite side of the pond from the Eloos.
If you'd like to have a fire, check with us to see if we have wood for campfires before arriving. If we do, we'd be happy to share.

Paddle board, Kayak, Canoe, Paddleboat and life jackets/floaties available in the green shed by the pond.

Additional info
All cabins have composting toilet outhouses located within a 1-2 MINUTE walk from cabins/campsites.
Please note that there are two households (the families of Ari Wakeman and Emily Adama) that live permanently on the property. (one in the lower level of the common house, and one in a cabin 200 yards from the common house.) During your rental they will maintain quiet and privacy for your group, but will remain on the property for the duration of your stay and will be available should any issues arise.
Cabins and Campsites do not currently have private campfire rings. We have a shared firepit with three picnic tables and logs for sitting on down by the northside of the pond (opposite the eloos). We may be able to provide a private fire ring under special circumstances on a first-come first-serve basis.
Please note the common house is unavailable AFTER 9:30am on the following Sundays due to retreats:
