The fully-equipped kitchen is furnished with all the necessities, including a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, tableware, and cookware, so families need not spend time looking for a place to eat, simply rustle up some food together. In the family living room, guests will find a cable TV, a DVD player, and a comfortable futon sofa. There are windows around the whole cabin, which bring in plenty of natural light and offers lovely views of the lake and the trees surrounding the cabin.
Outside, glampers will find a natural gas BBQ grill and a fire pit, encouraging al fresco dining with sumptuous views of the lake, and a great spot to enjoy the warmth of a bonfire, swapping stories and roasting s'mores well into the night.
This rental is furnished with cozy and comfortable furniture to ensure a lovely vacation stay for all to enjoy. Motorhomes, fifth wheels, truck campers, tents, use of paint guns, fireworks, pellet guns, or BB guns are prohibited on the glamping site at all times.
The rental is available weekly during the summer months, but may also be available on an overnight basis with a minimum two-night stay, except for Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day weekends which have a minimum three-night stay.

You will receive a 50% refund, minus our service fee, if you cancel more than 24 hours after your booking is confirmed and at least 30 days before check-in.

With Higgins Lake just a few steps away, those who love water activities will delight in the clear and majestic water of the lake that truly makes swimming a delight. The Civilian Conservation Corps Museum is both insightful and interesting for all ages and there are even trails for hiking and walking, so this is a great place to spend a few hours of the day. Glampers can even prepare a picnic to take with them and sit down to enjoy it in the park surrounded by nature at its finest.
Skiing is another great activity for everyone to enjoy as the Cross Country Skiing Headquarters is just 15 minutes away and offers groomed trails for all levels with experienced staff on hand. Campbell's Canoe Livery offers glampers the chance to rent canoes and kayaks to take onto the Au Sable River where they can spend the day floating on the water and going away with the tide.
For those who would like to explore the surrounding areas more, there are plenty of cities just a few hours away including Grand Rapid's, Flint, and Detroit, which all offer more tourism as well as historical and cultural attractions.
