Beneath the loft, there is a spacious living and dining area with a sofa, a rocking chair, an armchair, a dining table, and a wood-burning stove, all surrounded by gorgeous and rustic decor, custom lighting, and an array of windows providing plenty of natural light. This all provides a relaxing atmosphere, which is perfect for kicking back after a busy day hiking through the woods or fishing on the lake. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffeemaker. Other amenities include heating, air conditioning, and ceiling fans.
Outside, guests will find a covered front porch and a charcoal barbecue grill, perfect for grilling those freshly caught fish, which can be enjoyed around the picnic table. Once guests have finished eating and the sun is beginning to set, they can light up the fire pit to ward away the cold, and while away the hours swapping stories and roasting s'mores.

About 15 minutes to the northeast, guests will find over a dozen wineries, breweries, and distilleries around the towns of Baroda, Buchannan, Bridgman, and Berrien Springs. The latter is also home to Fisherman's Haven nature preserve and the Robert and Lillis Kingman Observatory, which is open to the public two to three weekends per month.
For dining, guests will find options right in Sawyer and around all of the towns mentioned above. The cabin is about an hour and a half from Chicago, where the nearest international airport is located.

With Warren Dunes State Park just a mile away from the cabin, guests will be well-positioned to enjoy a range of outdoor activities. They can go swimming at the beaches, one of which is dog-friendly, stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking in Lake Michigan, with rentals are available at the park, and hiking on six miles of trails. The tall dunes and wind conditions of the park also make it a popular site for hang gliding.
For wine, beer, and spirit tasting, guests can visit the many wineries, breweries, and distilleries in Baroda, Buchannan, Bridgman, and Berrien Springs. At the latter, guests can also go fishing at the appropriately named Fisherman's Haven and stargaze at the Robert and Lillis Kingman Observatory. For golfing, guests can hit the links at the Pebblewood Country Club, which is open to the public.
