Based on 30 acres of private land in the town of Union Pier with heated pool, hot tub, organic farm, woods and trails, this secluded lodge rental sits on the banks of the Galien River and is within one mile of the sandy shores of Lake Michigan making it a superb spot for a weekend getaway. The lodge offers a comfortable and peaceful destination for spending quality time with loved ones while relaxing in sublime natural beauty. Other cottages/houses on site for larger groups.

The lodge has eight custom-designed suites that have been lovingly decorated with different types of wood while showcasing incredible hand-hewn bed frames from local artisans. Guests are treated to quality high thread count linens and plush pillows as well as comfortable mattresses that all make for a great night’s rest. Each room comes with ceiling fans, a high-speed Wi-Fi connection, and flat-screen televisions with cable and Blu-Ray DVD players as well as spacious private bathrooms where fresh towels and toiletries are provided. The bathrooms also include luxury two-person Jacuzzis, which are perfect for soothing aches and pains and rejuvenating mind, body, and soul. Guests staying for multiple nights will have their rooms freshened up daily unless they specify otherwise.

Five of the eight rooms on offer feature queen-size beds, two rooms come with a twin bed and a trundle, and the largest bedroom has a queen-size bed, a sleeper sofa for two, and a futon for two. Three of the suites are ideal for families and guests will also find that three rooms are wheelchair accessible. The first-floor bathroom and shower are also wheelchair accessible if required.

Between nine and 10 o’clock every morning and for those needing an early checkout, guests are invited to gather in the communal dining room for an exquisite continental breakfast complete with juices, teas, and coffee. The great room has been designed specifically for relaxation and socializing while the sunroom and office provide extra spaces should guests wish extra privacy for a nap or catch up on a bit of work.

Guests can enjoy a variety of yard games on the lawn including badminton, bags, and bocce as well as a barbecue meal from the grill that can be shared at picnic tables. For the perfect end to the day, the guests can gather around the fire pit to share anecdotes of the day’s adventures while toasting smores under the stars.

The lovely inn nestled in the of Harbor Country in Southwest Michigan offers amenities and facilities that provide both relaxation and entertainment.
