For a unique romantic getaway, peacefully tucked away in the woods on Dixon Lake in Squaw Lake, Minnesota, guests should look no further than this tree house rental with a private sauna. The tree house sits among the pine trees that surround this property, and to enter the accommodation, guests will climb a spiral staircase from a lower terrace onto a deck and cross a rope bridge to the screen door of the tree house.

Inside the tree house, there is a queen-size bed, and all linens are kindly provided by the hosts. The bedroom is separated from the rest of the accommodation by a privacy screen. A lounge love seat and coffee table are situated for viewing the lake and set beside the queen-size bed. Lovely screened windows surround the tree house with great views of Dixon lake.

There is a shared, full bathroom in the hosts' home, with towels, toiletries, and bathrobes provided. The entrance to the bathroom is just below the tree house. For storing food, guests must bring their own cooler. Guests staying in this tree house should note that there is no heating, air conditioning, or fridge.

Outside of the tree house, there are a number of shared outdoor seating and entertainment areas. These include patio furniture right outside the tree house, a veranda directly beneath the accommodation, and a shared courtyard with a gas barbecue, a dining table, and a fire pit, with firewood provided.

The very popular rental is a real tree house with fantastic panoramic views, a queen-size bed, sitting area, electricity and lights with a sauna. Outside, guests will find a variety of shared amenities, including a lakeside veranda, a gas barbecue, a water spigot, and a fire pit for a camping kitchen. Guests will have a private full bath with toiletries and robes in the host's home, the entrance to which is just under the tree house. Lounge chairs, a hammock, a log swing, firewood, and sky chairs are provided. There is a sandy beach and a fishing dock, as well as a floating dock and float mattresses. Kayaks, a paddleboat, life jackets, and bikes are provided.

Nestled peacefully in the Chippewa National Forest on Dixon Lake in Squaw Lake, Minnesota, the property is surrounded by acres of pine-covered lawns, flower gardens, vegetable and mushroom gardens, wooded walking trails, and serene lounging spaces. There are several other lakes nearby, such as Lake Winnibigoshish and Round Lake, and the property is close to The Lost 40, Turtle Mound, The Gosh Damn, and much more.

Dixon Lake and the surrounding area offer many outdoor activities and wildlife viewing all year round. The fall colors are exceptionally beautiful, and guests can go canoeing or kayaking and take scenic photos and see trumpeter swans. Guests can also go fishing right off the dock or go hunting for grouse, duck, bear, and deer.

The spring and summer are great for birdwatching, biking, hiking, boating, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, and swimming. In June and July, there are plenty of berry-picking opportunities at Blueberry Meadows, Lavalier's Berry Patch, and Lunemann's Luney Berries Strawberry Farm.

In the winter, guests can explore the Avenue of Pines Snowmobile Trails, which are considered as some of the best-groomed trails in the Chippewa National Forest. On the property, guests can explore the surrounding trails or just relax by the fireplace in front of the windows facing the lake. To unwind at the end of the day, guests can treat themselves to a massage.

This retreat is non-smoking. Smoking or bringing butts indoors or on the veranda, courtyard or decks is not allowed. Smoking is only permitted at the fire pit terrace. No candles, fireworks, or firearms are allowed.

Pets are not permitted.

There are other rentals on the property so it cannot be guaranteed that guests will not experience any noise disturbance.

No jet skis or Wave Runners are allowed.
