This idyllic country retreat is set in a lovingly refurbished barn in the countryside of Athens, Wisconsin, located in the foothills of Rib Mountain. It is the perfect location for a romantic getaway. Three separate bedrooms with ensuites can be rented together or separately. The barn has rustic charm with a touch of contemporary elegance that beckons glampers to relax and unwind in the serenity of nature. Glampers can choose "THE PARISIAN SUITE" with a king bed, luxurious linens, decorated with antiques and mirrors that would make Louis XIV jealous. In the ensuite bathroom glampers can luxuriate in the 2-person Jacuzzi whirlpool after a day spent exploring the surrounding 40 acres. "THE EASTLAKE SUITE" has a queen bed in a cozy, rustic, red decor with an ensuite decorated in roman Travertine tile surrounding a two-person bubble spa. Finally, the "THE TOWER SUITE" has stunning 180 degree views of the countryside and the lake. It has a king bed with an ensuite bath that features a double-bowl vanity with stone-hewn sinks.

The common areas (living room, library, loft, and decks) exude charm and feature an arched gothic roof made of reclaimed wood, massive windows, and an impressive 25 foot tall stone fireplace. Here, glampers can curl up with their favorite novel from the collection available and sip on a glass of wine. In the morning, glampers can head upstairs to the breakfast area for a cup of coffee in the tower to view unspoiled rolling hills and the 3-acre lake, or sit on one of the four decks to start a perfect day.

This architectural gem of a barn is the perfect spot for glampers to enjoy a home-away-from-home while escaping the bustle of city life. Le Chalet provides the following amenities: robes, large screen TV, an entertainment center, books, and Wi-Fi. The three-acre lake has a white sand beach for swimming, Adirondack chairs, and a fishing boat for anglers. Plenty of space to park horse trailers and trails to ride.
