Summit Lake, a 279-acre lake, is nestled in the heart of lake country and offers a plethora of outdoor recreation during all four seasons. Local attractions include Springbrook Trail, Bass Lake, and the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.

The town of Elcho is four miles away while Antigo is about 18 miles from Summit Lake. Austin Straubel International Airport is approximately 108 miles away in Green Bay.

Nestled on the main shore of Greater Bass Lake, glampers can enjoy ample outdoor recreation right on their doorstep. Additionally, there is a pontoon available for an additional fee, great for exploring the lake or an early morning fishing expedition. Just a short drive away, the Springbrook Trail awaits and offers glampers a 1,800-foot boardwalk that snakes through parks and wilderness areas. The trail is ideal for walking, biking, rollerblading, or morning runs.

During the cooler months, Langlade County boasts a wealth of exciting ski areas, where glampers will enjoy cross-country skiing and snowmobiling, including the Kettlebowl Mountain Biking and Cross-country ski trails that include a part of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail that runs through the state of Wisconsin.
