The first bedroom has a huge, king-size bed and a pull-out single bed. This room features its own corner fireplace, giving the space a restful and cozy feel. The second bedroom has a queen-size four-poster bed. Additional sleeping space is provided with a queen-size sofa bed, in the lounge, which is great for members of the group who prefer to stay up late. In the bright, modern bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower/tub combination. Freshly laundered linens and towels are provided by the host.
In the living room, glampers will find plenty of soft, comfy sofa space, a large, flat screen television, a stereo music system, and an inviting, stonework gas fireplace. This is the ideal space for curling up in the evening for a chat with loved ones, or a family movie night. The living room has large windows, which offer a superb view of the distant mountains, and the gorgeous landscape which surrounds the cottage.
The fully equipped kitchen comes with a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a stove, a microwave, a toaster, and a coffee maker. Guests will also have access to a wide selection of utensils and dishes. Next to the kitchen area is a dining table for six people, where glampers can enjoy meals and drinks. Other amenities at the cottage include Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, air conditioning, heating, and on-site parking. The washer and dryer are housed in a large utility room, where guests can securely store bikes and other outdoor equipment.
Outside, the property is set on two acres, so guests have a real feeling of being out in the country. There is a spacious patio area, with outdoor furniture, and a barbecue. It's a perfect place to relax and watch the incredible sunset. The land surrounding the cottage boasts abundant wildlife, especially birds, rabbits and squirrels and, depending on the season, the yard is often filled with colorful native wildflowers.

Those who feel like more of a challenge can try their hand at Serpents Trail and, for the experts, there are the Lunch Loop Trails, which are less than five miles from the property. Guests can bring their own bikes or can hire one from downtown, and enjoy single track mountain biking, or road biking, with big climbs, but even bigger views.
Departing from Grand Junction, there are many guided tours available for rafting, kayaking, and scenic float trips. For fans of golf, Redlands Mesa Golf Course is only six miles from the cottage, and fans of winter sports only have a 45-minute car ride between them and the snow. The nearest place to ski and snowboard, during the winter months, is Powderhorn Ski Resort. If guests would prefer a gentler activity, the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens is only ten minutes from the cottage.
Nature lovers will be delighted by the indoor and outdoor exhibits. The butterfly house has butterflies and moths, fish, toads, turtles, and tree frogs, as well as over 600 exotic tropical plants from all over the world. The outdoor gardens have roses, herbs, and native flora. Those in need of some retail therapy will not be disappointed in Grand Junction. Glampers can hunt down a unique souvenir at the region’s largest antique store. There are also shops selling fashion, jewelry, gifts, and crafts.
