This unique tree house is the perfect rental for a luxury getaway nestled in the mountain area of Pagosa Springs in Colorado. The rental sleeps up to 13 total, two people in the master eedroom with a king-size bed, four guests in two queen-size beds which are located in two separate bedrooms, three people in one bunk bed located in the bedroom/gameroom, two glampers in one bunk bed located in an alcove, and people on a sleeper sofa.
The tree house has large casement windows and wrap-around decks, for enjoying the breathtaking views. There are solid wood, six panel doors throughout. A jetted tub is available to lounge in. There is a private, covered, outdoor hot tub to relax in after a fun-filled day in the mountains. Pagosa Springs is near a wonderful ski area in Wolf Creek Pass. Also, the scenery is beautiful in here, which glampers will see as they will be coming from the Wolf Creek Ski area, back into town. The rental is large enough to accommodate large groups and there is always a spot where guests can escape from the crowd.
The hot tub is great after a cold evening to chat and enjoy a nice glass of wine, and the hosts boast a wonderful selection that they know will be enjoyed by glampers.
Features include satellite,and three HDTVs. The following are also provided:DVD player, CD player, ping pong table, full kitchen, microwave, dishwasher and large refrigerator. All cooking utensils and dishes are provided in a gourmet kitchen. This is a chef's dream for a vacation kitchen. Southern Colorado is a picturesque region that attracts visitors from near and far. The Pagosa Springs area is home to endless acres of various mountain peaks, running rivers, and amazing national forests. San Juan National Forest and mountain range, Rio Grande National Forest, and Navajo State Park are just a short drive away and offer excellent trails and terrain for walking, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, mountaineering, mountain climbing, wildlife watching, and practicing photography. The famous natural monument of Chimney Rock is less than an hour drive to the west and is an interesting location for an enlightening day trip. Other activities that can be found in the area are hot air balloon rides, golfing, and exploring on ATVs.
The property itself sits adjacent to the Martinez Creek with the neighboring San Juan River close by, so glampers who love being on the water can go swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, and rafting. Fishing charters can be accessed within minutes of the property, so guests do not have to travel far to cast a line.
As the weather becomes cold, snow falls and the mountain resorts open their doors. Downhill skiing and snowboarding are popular sports on the mountains while snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and riding snowmobiles are popular on flatter terrain. When the lakes and streams freeze, locals love to practice ice skating or spend the afternoon ice fishing.
The tree house is located just a short walk away from a pristine lake stocked with trout and bass. When you are finished soaking in the on-site hot tub, you can try the famous hot springs in Pagosa. An abundance of outdoor activities make Pagosa Springs a nature lover's paradise. Lake species include rainbow trout, brown trout, largemouth bass, perch and others.
