The city of Coeur d’Alene is approximately a half hour's drive south of the property and boasts the incredible Coeur d’Alene National Forest as well as Lake Coeur d’Alene, which is well-known for its water sports. Approximately 70 miles north-east of the property is Kaniksu National Forest where it crosses from Idaho into Montana. The city of Bonners Ferry is approximately 60 miles north-east of the property and is near the famous Kootenai National Forest. Grangeville is approximately 200 miles south-east of the property and is the largest city in Idaho County, boasting the famous Grangeville Mammoth Exhibit.

Athol is also home to Silverwood Theme Park, Farragut State Park, and Boulder Beach Waterpark, all excellent spots to enjoy in the warmer months. Also in Athol is the Scarywood Haunted Nights, an attraction with haunted houses and ghost rides. The nearby Bonners Ferry is home to the Boundary County Museum and is near the Kootenai National Forest, where hiking trails and wildlife await. Kaniksu National Forest is only 70 miles north of the property and features absolutely stunning mountains, trails, waterfalls, and wildlife. Guests must also visit Coeur d’Alene to enjoy the famous Lake Coeur d’Alene and the Coeur d’Alene National Forest. The lake is known for its water sports and stunning views, where guests can swim, boat, jet ski, and more.
