Nestled on a secluded, 1/3 acre, wooded lot in Island Park, experience rustic cabin charm with modern amenities. It has a warmth about it. It simply has a way of drawing you in with its exposed wood beams, tongue and groove wood walls, and bear-themed decor. Guests rave about it feeling like home the moment they walk in. You'll love the amenities of the home, delivered by a host that spends significant time in Island Park, at here, and is passionate about providing comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful little extras.

Arrive to the freshness of crisp mountain air, and enjoy the privacy and shade provided by the towering pines and aspen trees heavily scattered around this ideal woodland retreat.

This charming, 1,200-square-foot, bear-themed cabin greets you with a log exterior, bear shutters and generous, covered front and back porches. The front door leads you into an open living space with 2-story vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams over a kitchen, dining area, and family room.

Gather and prepare meals in a fully-equipped kitchen that is generously stocked with a large spice/seasoning selection and everything needed to create meals on-site. Dine and sip beverages at the kitchen island barstools. Share meals and play games at the dining table, or at the outdoor picnic table, shaded from afternoon sun. Don't forget to freeze some ice packs to throw into a cooler for tomorrow's adventures. We provide both on-site, as a convenience...along with loaner bear spray, fishing gear, first aid, and little extras, in case you forget something.

Relax in the cozy family room, centered around a modern propane fireplace and Smart TV - a perfect spot to unwind and relax after a day of exploring and adventure. Take in forest views from the large picture window, and enjoy the cool breeze from the ceiling fan above.

Sleep comfortably in a main floor master suite with a queen bed, featuring premium pillows and linens, and an ensuite bathroom. The master is tucked in the back of the cabin, offering privacy from the living area. Settle in with a late night movie on the Smart TV. Store your items away in the closet and dresser...plenty of space to make your own during your stay.

Discover the spacious sleeping loft where kids, and adults alike, will enjoy two queen, and one twin beds, a closet, and 1/2 bath. All bedrooms are fashioned with room-darkening curtains, fans, easily accessible power and USB ports for electronics on nightstands, and extra pillows and blankets.

You'll love having 2-full and 1-half baths so you're not fighting for shower or potty time. There are 2 full baths on the main floor, and a small, but convenient, half bath in the loft. Enjoy premium bath sheet-size towels, hand towels, make-up washcloths, body wash, toilet paper, etc.

Immerse yourself in nature with the outdoor spaces and amenities available for your use, including covered front and back decks with seating. Enjoy a peaceful morning cup of coffee, chat with friends and family, or prepare meals on the propane grill. You may encounter a visit from the squirrels, fox, song birds, moose, elk and deer that call our neighborhood home. Occasional mountain rainstorms are common, and grilling meals under cover is a plus. Enjoy meals at the picnic table, which is shaded in the evening, and a perfect spot for dinner outside. Create memories as you warm up on a cool mountain night around the fire pit out back. Roast marshmallows or cook dinner over the open flame (you can find marshmallow roasting/hotdog sticks in the kitchen, and firewood on site). Oversize, comfortable stacking chairs (with cup holders and lumbar support) are available for your use around the fire pit.

Have questions, or want local trip planning advice? Access an extremely thorough welcome book (available in over 100 languages), which I share with you digitally. The guide includes everything Island Park and the surrounding area has to offer: food; adventure and local must-sees; hiking; ATV riding, rentals and trails (close to amazing ATV trails); fishing access points; national park maps, information and links; even tips on where to find and see moose! The guide includes an area map which you can filter (show only restaurants, or hiking trails, or area must-sees, etc.) Everything can be quickly and easily accessed once the app is downloaded to your phone, even if you don't have cell service. I'm also always available to help in any way I can.

I love Island Park and all that it has to offer. I've vacationed here with my family for years and have dreamed about owning our own cabin here. After years of planning and saving, our dream became a reality in the spring of 2021 when we placed on offer on the cabin in an incredibly competitive market and hoped for the best. We were so excited when we learned it would be ours.

The cabin was older and needed some updating and repairs. We remodeled the entire cabin to make it ours...New flooring, cabinetry, bathrooms, lighting, furnishings, etc. We cook, sleep and create memories here too. Therefore, we’ve been thoughtful and comprehensive in this cabin’s updating, inclusions and amenities.

Because our family spends a significant amount of time here, I can provide a wealth of information for you during your stay...a personal, local guide. I’ve spent countless hours creating a welcome book, which you can add to your phone as an app, that includes local dining, shopping, adventure, trail, and area must-see’s. If you can’t find something you’re looking for, reach out, I'm always happy to help, if I can.

I'm so excited to be able to share our cute little cabin and Island Park with you. It truly is an incredible place to visit and connect with nature.
I loved the rustic cabin feel of the property, exposed beams, loft, log exterior, secluded wooded lot and quiet location. It's private, yet close enough to Yellowstone, restaurants, the reservoir and trails. The covered patios are a must for protection from frequent evening thunderstorms.

It offers close proximity to Yellowstone National Park; beautiful scenery; abundant and varied wildlife; world-class fishing; miles of ATV trails extending from Ashton to West Yellowstone; beautiful rivers and lakes for water activities such as swimming, canoeing, boating, floating, and fishing; and winter activities including hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, etc.
Island Park, Idaho is a destination for anglers looking to catch trophy trout and families vacationing. Visitors explore Yellowstone National Park and Teton National Parks, ride ATV’s , ride horses, hike or bike in the mountains, camp and boat. Many come to see the Bald Eagles, grouse, Sand-hill Cranes, songbirds, raptors, waterfowl, and large and small mammals (including deer, elk, moose and bear), to view wildflowers and to take in the overall scenic beauty Island Park offers. In the winter, the area is a wonderland with over 500 miles of snowmobile trails, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing.
