This luxurious treehouse a stunning retreat nestled within the pine trees just behind the waterfront of Belgrade Stream. Located 10 minutes away from the Maine State Capitol of Augusta, 10 minutes away from the gorgeous downtown of the Belgrade Lakes region, one hour away from Acadia National Park, and 45 minutes away from Sugarloaf Mountain, this space is ideal for any and all vacationers looking for a getaway and any kind of adventure.

SPACE
With direct access and views to a Belgrade stream & Messalonskee lake, the treehouse has been a longtime vision that was created with love, the finest pine lumber, and the most luxurious finds for interior design. From handpicked luxury linens to the finest hardware and designer finishes, the treehouse has a rustic luxury lodge atmosphere. Everything that you find both inside and out was collectively an Alkurabi Family effort of all generations and specifically hand-picked for all of our guests to enjoy. In the most pristine setting among the trees and just behind the edges of Belgrade Stream, you can view all of the wildlife and the wilderness while sitting among the loft of the treehouse and looking out of the spectacular wall of windows. The property is truly a breathtaking site in all four seasons. The fun of the summer attracts many but if you’re one that likes ice fishing and snow, this property is also for you! The stream doesn’t ice up completely but the lake does and makes for a wonderful day trip just a jump, hop, and skip away! Come inside and sit by the fireplace after a chilly day on the lake and make the best memories no matter what the season is! This retreat boasts the best amenities to make everyone’s stay comfortable and unique including use of your own outdoor jacuzzi hot tub on a private deck overlooking the Belgrade Stream. The treehouse boasts a loft bedroom with a Queen sized bed and the best views, as well as a studio open concept living space below with a floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything that you will need to create anything your heart desires! The kitchenette has a whimsical copper stovetop hood, a deep farmhouse style sink and the cutest dining table. The studio space contains a chic couch in front of the fireplace which conveniently converts to another bed. It also houses another queen sized bed with luxurious linens and equally as impressive views. The bathroom completes this space with a floor to ceiling stone shower with glass door and, as an added unique touch, also includes an exposed pine tree in the corner of the bathroom. Constantly surrounded by the beautiful outdoors, this space is a natural retreat all about the setting in nature and just as importantly, an aesthetic gem. There is an air conditioning and heating unit within the treehouse and also has boundless double French doors onto the picturesque deck to bring in limitless breeze and wind from the surrounding outdoors. The private deck also includes your own gas grill and outdoor dining table to enjoy a meal with a view. The treehouse includes a Smart TV as well as streaming options of Netflix, Hulu and Disney+. Our included WiFi is always available to you and passwords can be found in your itinerary as well as in house manual. Our treehouse comes equipped with Amazon Alexa. There is a shared fire pit available to use. This space is perfectly equipped to welcome a couples getaway for two, honeymooners, as well as a family with children.

Our retreat boast two beautiful treehouses as well as a chalet that all have the potential for housing guests at any given time. Our property has the luxury of offering extended family and friends stays as all of our short term rentals can be rented out for reunions, birthdays, weddings or any event. ACCESS
Direct access and views to a Belgrade stream & Messalonskee lake. Complete shared access to the fire pit directly in front of the Treehouses is shared between both treehouse properties. You also have shared access to the sandy beach area as well as the boat dock. Both of these spaces have shared amenities such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats. There is great fishing in the stream as well as in the lake waters. Cool off in the summer sun by taking a swim or enjoy some snowshoeing on the property in the snow. Year ‘round there is always an abundance of activities to participate in here at this luxurious treehouse retreat!

NEIGHBORHOOD
The Belgrade Lakes are in the heart of the Kennebec Valley Region, which includes a chain of seven lakes and ponds. Messalonskee Lake covers 3,510 acres with a depth of 113 feet. Best known for largemouth bass, northern pike, and landlocked salmon. In the Belgrade Lakes Region, visitors enjoy the beauty of Maine, charming downtown Belgrade, award-winning dining, shopping, and fishing for landlocked salmon, Brook Trout, Northern Pike, and Large and Smallmouth Bass. Additionally, ice fishing is allowed in the ponds in the Belgrade Lakes. Each lake has special regulations. Be sure to consult the Open Water & Ice Fishing Laws & Rules for specifics. The Belgrade Lakes are located just a few miles from Interstate 95 in the Augusta/Waterville area.

TRANSIT
**Getting Around:**
Guests have direct access to the stream, perfect for kayaking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, and paddle boarding—just steps from the treehouse.

NOTES
The treehouses are nestled right next to one another. During your stay there is a high possibility that you may have a wonderful family or couple right next door to you.

Pontoon Boat Available:
From May through October, guests are welcome to rent our 22-foot pontoon boat for a relaxing cruise on the lake. The rental rate is $299 per day, and the boat comes fully equipped with all required safety gear.

There is a $195 pet fee. Please be kind and let us know beforehand if you plan to bring your pet. Pets are always welcome as we know first hand that they are a part of a family unit!

While visiting, we do ask that pets refrain from using the bathroom on the back yard. This is a place that all guests have access to and we want to make sure that the landscape stays the best that it can be!

We also ask that our guests always pick up after their pets both indoors and outdoors. This includes keeping pets off the furniture as well.

ADDITIONAL RULES
House Rules

First and foremost, we want to say an introductory thank you to all our future guests and all our past guests. We have honestly come across some of the most courteous people we have ever met and cannot show enough gratitude to all of you and are so excited to welcome more guests to host at our unique spaces!
Our biggest wish, by sharing our spaces with our guests, is that you treat it as if it were your own. We have spent a lot of time and love, providing a space that is luxurious and a home away from home for all of you. We want you to always feel cozy and comfortable while you are staying here. We have been honored to be able to host every one of you and we just ask that you be respectful of our space and of our house rules. We would kindly appreciate it if each one of our guests could read the house rules and adhere to them. Failure to adhere to these House Rules will result in immediate removal from the property and certain fines as well.

CHECK-IN: Check-in time is between 4 PM and 8 PM. An early check-in may be possible with advanced notice and subject to an additional fee. Please contact us as soon as you can so we can discuss this with you and understand that this cannot be guaranteed. Also, should you need to check-in late, please contact us to discuss reasoning in advance as well. We try to accommodate all our guests with travel arrangements and check-in times and know how stressful travel days can be!

Our newly renovated kitchen features beautiful butcher block countertops. It is absolutely prohibited to use these countertops as cutting surfaces. Please use the provided cutting boards for all chopping and cutting. Any damage caused by not following this rule may result in additional charges. Thank you for your cooperation.

PARKING AND VEHICLES: Please read your individual property's House Manual for further information regarding parking. Each reservation or booking is entitled to park one vehicle at the designated spaces for each rental listing on our property. Should you have more than one vehicle, please contact us as soon as possible and let us know. We will do everything that we can to accommodate you. If you do not have prior approval and bring more than one vehicle, you will be subject to a $50 per car fee per night that the extra car is parked on premises. Thanks for your understanding!

SMOKING: We are a no smoking property. This means that we not only prohibit smoking in our rentals but also on the entire property grounds as well. We take such pride in the outdoors and the lakefront and we don’t wish to lose any sightings of wildlife or anything of the sort due to smoking or litter. Failure to follow this rule will result in a $200 per day fine for the length of your booking. Thank you for being courteous and understanding!

EATING AREAS : No eating or drinking on the beds, couches or in the living area. Please enjoy your meal at the dining table or outside.

PARTIES AND EVENTS: We do not allow any parties whatsoever. In the event that you have a small event or get together, please inquire about that with us before booking or prior to checking in so we can have the ability to decide based on the information. If you do not have prior permission to have more than our occupancy limits on the premises and we observe a party ensuing, your reservation will immediately be cancelled at that time, and you will be asked to vacate the premises.

VISITORS: To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, visitors are not permitted for overnight stays. Guests must obtain prior approval before having any visitors during their stay.

Maximum Occupancy: The maximum occupancy of the property is 4. This includes all adults, children, and infants. Please do not exceed this limit at any time during your stay.

Overnight Guests: Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight. Any additional guests staying overnight must be approved by the host and may incur additional fees.

Daytime Guests: Daytime visitors are welcome but must not exceed the maximum occupancy limit. Please inform the host in advance if you plan to have visitors during your stay.

Compliance: All guests and visitors must comply with house rules, including the maximum occupancy limit. Violation of this rule may result in immediate eviction without refund.

PETS: We are pet friendly and look forward to meeting all your four-legged friends! We do ask for a $195 pet fee per pet. We ask that you pick up after your family pup both indoors and outdoors. Please pick up all waste outdoors. We also ask that if you are to be away from your pet for some time, that the pet is contained and does not make excessive noise when left alone in the rental. Also, please don’t let them up onto the furniture, especially the sofas and beds. If we find that you have let your pets onto our furniture this will result in an extra $150 cleaning fee. Please take care of your pets at all times.

CHILDREN: Children of all ages are welcomed at all our rentals. We do ask that you keep a close eye on children on stairs and on the balcony’s both indoors and outdoors if applicable. Any children under 15 years old should be supervised by an adult in the hot tubs and in the stream and lake as well as down by the dock. We really appreciate all your efforts and understanding in this matter.

OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT AND AMENITIES: We ask that you enjoy all that our property has to offer. We do ask that you make sure to put things back where you got them from and let us know of anything that is functioning improperly. We want to be sure to address things as soon as possible to make sure all our guests can enjoy them! Also, from the legislature of Maine Law, “Maine boating law requires that every person 10 years of age or younger must wear a Type I, II, or III PFD while aboard any watercraft at any time. So, kayaking, canoeing, or paddle boarding in Maine, you have to have a life vest with you and if you're 10 or under you have to wear it.” Please be sure to use local law and your best judgment as well to make sure your children, guests, and yourself are always safe!
The designated fire pits in front of the rental properties are for you to enjoy at any time! You will need to source your own fire starters and wood for your own fire. Please refer to all local laws during your stay. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the amenities and the beauty of the outdoors around you!
The Grill on the deck of the rental is yours to use at any time during the length of your stay. Do your best to keep it clean and tidy. Cover it again once it has cooled off a bit. This helps protect it from the weather and elements of sorts. We appreciate you!

TOWELS AND AMENTITIES: We try to run an eco-friendly space as best we can. We provide 2 towels per registered guest. We do ask that you try to preserve as much as possible and hang your towels to dry in between uses. For more information regarding towels, please refer to the House Manual. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

All items in the rental are the property of the owner and will be inventoried upon check out. This includes, but is not limited to the following: sheets, towels, bathrobes, and other linens. Bathrobes are for guests’ use during your stay. If you wish to purchase these they can be added to the bill. Any items found missing will be your responsibility and will be charged to the guest accordingly.

COMPLAINTS AND CONCERNS: If you have a complaint or a concern, we ask you to contact us and give us access to the area where the complaint or concern is coming from so that we can attempt to fix it prior to contacting the booking platform. We will immediately address any complaint or concern and appreciate you allowing us to better your stay! We want all of our guests to always have a 5-star experience at our property and we strive for excellence. We hope that you see that with our attention to detail in our rentals and our precision.

TRASH:

Please take a moment and refer to the House Manual to see what your property's protocol is for trash prior to leaving. If you have any questions regarding this, please don't hesitate to reach out and we will inform you on what to do before check-out!

CHECKOUT: Checkout time is 11 am. On rare occasions, we can accommodate a later check-out. Please contact us to inquire about this. A small fee will be charged for this service. Should you checkout late, there will be a late checkout fee. If you are more than 30 minutes beyond the 11 am checkout time, we will impose a $75 late checkout fee. If you stay 2 hours beyond 11 am, you will be charged for an additional day's reservation. This does not award you possession of the rental for an additional day, this is just a penalty for holding possession of our property beyond the underlined checkout time and you are preventing our cleaners from being able to clean and disinfect the property for the next guests and may prevent our next guests from checking in on time. This penalty of the charge for an additional day is also an additional day minus any discounts. It is base rate and will be charged as such. Please be courteous of our cleaners and the next guests! We work hard on making sure we are one of the cleanest rentals you will come across. This is maintained by having enough time to take care of everything needed for each guest’s stay. Thank you for your understanding!

We ask that prior to guests’ checking out, that they strip the beds and leave the linens, including all sheets, comforters, and pillowcases at the edge of the bed. Also, all towels should be put in the basket provided for you in the bathroom. This helps our cleaning crew more than you can imagine and it is greatly appreciated!

Please do your best to wash any dishes that you have used during your stay prior to checking out.

If the rental property is left with excessive cleaning to be done because of the rental property being left with excessively dirty pots and pans in the sink, excessive amounts of trash, staining of floors or walls, etc., then we will charge an additional $150 cleaning fee for this extra cleaning that will need to be done. We have put a lot of effort into making our property into a lovely space for our guests. Please treat it with the same care that you would your own home.
