There is one bathroom in the cottage with a toilet, strong shower spray, large bathtub, lots of hot water, and plenty of fresh, clean, new, fluffy towels. The kitchen comes equipped with lots of cooking utensils, large oven, toaster oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, blender, and a new gas stove with a fan hood. The refrigerator is vintage, large, restored, reliable, works well, and includes a freezer.

Just outside of the cottage glampers will find a delightful porch deck with a patio table and chairs. Guests can relax with breakfast in the morning, or glass of wine in the evening and adore the scenic landscapes, the Megunticook River, and Mount Battie. There is an outdoor gas grill just outside of the kitchen door for guests to cook delicious meals, and a floating dock with a swim ladder onto the river that is lit beautifully at night.
Guests are not required to bring their own bed linen, or towels as these are provided by the host. The cottage also comes equipped with high speed Wi-Fi.

Bar Harbor is approximately one hour and 45 minutes drive from the accommodation, where guests will find beautiful gardens, amazing hiking trails, and Acadia National Park. Freeport is a one hour and 20 minute drive from the cottage and approximately 66 miles. In Freeport there is a shopping outlet, water activities, and Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park.

There are an array of activities available for guests to enjoy while staying at this charming cottage in Camden. Two miles down the Megunticook River is another dam called the Seabright. This peaceful section of the river is perfect for swimming, floating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing or sunbathing on its banks. It is a rare quiet spot to relax with tranquil settings. Around the corner, guests can find motor boats, water skiing, or jet skis which are accessible on the lake.
Guests can take a trip to Camden, Rockport, and Rockland, all of which are no further than 20 minutes by car. These towns offer a wealth of art galleries, antique shops, restaurants, first run and art house movie theaters. Close neighbor Rockport is home to the well-known Bay Chamber Concerts where glampers can enjoy world class live classical performances several times each week. In Rockport, there are Maine Photographic Workshops, Avena Botanicals & The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship offering classes, presentations & exhibits.
