Private islands in Maine for rent

This expansive eco-friendly private island can reach up to 27 acres during low tide, and 17 acres during high tide, giving guests plenty of space to roam around, explore one of the many hiking trails, or just relax by the beach and catch a beautiful Atlantic sunset. There are two cabins on the island. The main cabin is situated on a hill overlooking the ocean, with an outdoor wooden deck running along the outside. Inside the cabin is one room which includes a kitchen area with a refrigerator, propane stove, and kitchenware. There is also a sleeping area with a fold-out futon, as well as a sitting area with a library.

There is also a smaller cabin mainly used for sleeping purposes, which is just above the water and offers stellar views of the ocean sunset. The cabin includes a queen-size bed, as well as a wooden deck running along the outside. With both cabins in mind, this property can comfortably accommodate a total of ten guests. There is a shower under the main cabin as well as sun-powered showers around the property, and an outhouse toilet. In order to avoid polluting the island, there is no plumbing available.

The property's electricity is run on solar power and there is no plumbing, making the entire grounds environmentally friendly. Guests have access to the entire island property, which includes two wooden decks overlooking the ocean and an outdoor grill.
