Description of Glamping Units
On the slopes of Pleasant Mountain in Maine guests can find these private yurt rentals nestled beneath the trees. These accommodations provide all the necessities for a luxurious weekend retreat. Within the yurts guests will find that they are furnished with kitchen amenities, a two-burner propane stove, a wood stove, a French press and tea pot, an ice chest for food storage, fire wood for indoor fires, and olive oil lamps and lanterns.

Sunset Yurt: This unit sleeps up to three glampers in a queen-size pull out futon couch bed and a pull out single bed. There is a composting toilet is a short walk away (downhill about 50 yards), an outdoor fire circle, a picnic table, and a hammock.
Mountain Brook Yurt: This yurt sleeps up to four guests in one pull out queen futon, one single bed, and one single folding cot.
Please note there is no running water at the yurts. This property has a warm shower for guests created from a hybrid system with solar, wood and propane on demand for limited, mindful usage.

Glampers will have access to everything they will need during a stay here. This includes access to private hiking trails, a wood-fired sauna, and a yoga/meditation studio for private practice when available.
Although each retreat space is equipped with a wood-stove for chilly weather, there is also a campfire ring and chairs to enjoy nighttime under a star-filled sky. There is a hammock, a picnic table, and an outdoor restroom/composting toilet nearby. Guests will be provided with mountain drinking water. There is a warm shower room nearby, along with a warm open air shower and a cold open air shower.
Another one of the unique amenities is the site’s traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna steam bath, located in the forest near the spring-fed mountain brook. This temple in the woods will redefine what a sauna experience is. Please note that the sauna is only available by advanced appointment.

There is a big focus on rest and relaxation during a stay here. With this in mind, the site offers a wide range of spiritual activities. These range in price, and many are just based on donations. Yoga and meditation are strongly encouraged, and there are many spa services available to enjoy.
Hiking and cycling are great ways to explore the local area. There are mountainous slopes to explore, along with beautiful lakes and rivers waiting to be discovered.
