Built in 1780 and featuring 300-degree views of the ocean, this cottage rental is located on Muscongus Bay, Maine, and can accommodate six guests. Perched on stilts that allow the sea to flow right beneath its porch, the cottage has four bedrooms and one bathroom, which is housed in a separate building a short walk away from the cottage via a fully-lit path.
In the bedrooms, guests will find one queen-size bed, three standard twin beds, and one extra-long twin bed. The living room is furnished with a number of rocking chairs and stationary armchairs, which are arranged around a stone fireplace. The dining room seats six and there is also a fully-equipped kitchen.
Outside, guests will find a porch and a balcony, both of which look out onto the ocean, as well as the property's main dock and a secondary dock that is used for small boats and kayaks.
Around the site on which this accommodation is located, guests will find a sandy beach, two swimming areas, docks, a playground, a volleyball court, a clay tennis court, a walking trail, tidal clam flats on which they can take a stroll, and coastal rocks on which they can rest in the sun. Guests will also find trails for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing at Camden Hills State Park.
