For birdwatching, they can head to the Hog Island Audubon Camp and Todd Wildlife Sanctuary, the latter of which also has four trails on which guests can go hiking.
For more hiking, guests can visit the Oyster River Bog Trail Head, the Salt Bay Heritage Trail, the Aldermere Farm Lily Pond Trail, the Thorndike Brook Trailhead, and the Georges Highland Path Trailhead. Guests will also find trails for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing at Camden Hills State Park.
