This luxury cottage rental sits a few steps away from the pristine shore of Frenchman’s Bay in Hancock County, Maine, and it makes for an unforgettable romantic getaway or a family retreat to the coast. As guests approach the cottage, they will see the tall trees that are gorgeous all year round, but particularly special in the fall, and the immaculate lawn right beside the sea.

The interior is modern and bright while maintaining the country cottage charm and features large floor-to-ceiling windows, wide-plank floors, and carpeted bedrooms and living area. The cottage can accommodate up to five guests with a queen-size bed in all three of the bedrooms, while there is also a fold out sofa bed in the living area. The master bedroom has large windows that open up onto a private deck that is perfect for watching the sunset and enjoying a romantic breakfast in the fresh ocean breeze while the other rooms are spacious and include stylish wardrobes and bedside tables.

The living area includes comfortable furniture in front of a fireplace and a 48-inch, flat-screen television and there is a dining table for eight that comes with views of the bay. The kitchen area is fully equipped and all major appliances are provided as well as cooking utensils and there is ample room for more than one chef making meal times a sociable and entertaining part of the day.

The property features a wrap-around deck with deck furniture that can be reached from the master bedroom which makes for a great setting for a romantic breakfast or an evening glass of wine. There is a gas barbecue grill that can be used in the summer months for enjoying meal times in the patio area or on the spacious lawn.
