Outdoors, glampers can bask in the sublime natural beauty surrounding the tent. Mornings can be savored with a cup of coffee, hot off the fire, and evenings can be spent roasting marshmallows and enjoying the company of friends around the fire pit. Rustic cooking is easy with the camp stove and grill and kitchen utensils, a water carrier, and dry food storage are supplied.
There is an outdoor bathroom with a shower and a portable camp toilet near the tent. Just a short walk away are the Treworgy Orchards, which offer refreshments, a corn maze, and other activities. A 15-minute drive will take guests to the Dragon Fly Winery and a historic drive-in theater, while a further 45 minutes and guests will arrive at the ocean.

Every tent comes with a portable camp toilet, which is a wooden box with a seat that has a bucket inside. The hosts were inspired by the bathrooms on NASA spaceships when creating these camp toilets. Before use, guests must line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag that is provided by the hosts, or a similar plastic bag. After use, the bag must be tied up and placed in the trash.

This picturesque countryside of New England is a mecca for outdoor recreation and offers something for everyone, any time of year. The Kenduskeag Stream, which hosts the largest annual canoe race in New England, is just a short distance away and great for fishing and swimming. The beautiful Penobscot River crosses through the city of Bangor and boasts a walkway with food trucks and benches from which glampers can admire the river. The walkway is ideal for cycling, walking, and jogging.
Further afield, glampers can visit Acadia National Park where nature and outdoor recreation abound. Here, glampers can enjoy summertime activities such as swimming and sunbathing as well as boating and fishing throughout the year. Closer to home, the Dragon Fly Winery makes for a great afternoon and those who love exploring can traverse the hiking trails surrounding the historical farm.
