Guests can drive along the Rangeley Lakes National Scenic Byway and see all the lakes, rivers, streams, forests, and mountains in the area. They can spend the day at Rangeley Lake State Park, only eight minutes away from the cabin, where they can have picnics or hike along the trails cutting through woods and waterfalls. Guests can also visit Bald Mountain, 15 minutes away from the cabin, where there are several trails perfect for hiking, cycling, and viewing wildlife.

Rangeley Lakes Region is a popular destination for avid winter sports fans. In the winter, guests can visit any one of the mountain resorts in the area for skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling.
