This fantastic camping getaway is located on the Saco River near Standish, Maine, and offers a secluded location in the Lakes Region of Maine. The tent is nestled on a wooden deck and comes with a queen-size bunk bed, plush bedding and pillows, nightstands, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. There is a sun shower nearby and linen and towels are provided by the hosts.
Outdoors, the deck has two Adirondack chairs that overlook the Saco River and there is a picnic table for al fresco dining. The camp stove, grill, and kitchen utensils make preparing meals hassle-free when hunger strikes and the fire pit is perfect for roasting marshmallows. The tiki torches provide ambient lighting at night and there are also lanterns and firewood available.
Glampers are free to roam the woods and enjoy the beauty of the forest and access to the Saco River. Kaykas, canoes, and paddle boards are free for glampers to use and there is ample to do and see in the area.
The tent comes with a portable camp toilet, which is a wooden box with a seat that has a bucket inside. The hosts were inspired by the bathrooms on NASA spaceships when creating these camp toilets. Before use, guests must line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag that is provided by the hosts, or a similar plastic bag. After use, the bag must be tied up and placed in the trash.
This camping experience offers modern conveniences to make any discerning glampers feel right at home during their stay. Inside the tent, glampers will find amenities such as a wood-burning stove, a comfortable bunk bed and air mattress, a five-gallon water bottle, and dry food storage. Linen and towels are provided by the hosts for extra convenience. Outside, there is a large fire pit for cooking as well as a picnic table for al fresco dining. There is a grill, a camp stove, and kitchen utensils.
Additionally, glampers are welcome to use the kayaks, canoe, paddle board, horseshoes, ladder ball, cornhole, and badminton.

This camping site boasts an excellent location in the Lakes Region of Maine and is a great base for glampers to explore the area. On-site, glampers are treated to direct access to the Saco River and watersports equipment such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards and for those who love fishing, the Saco River is fully stocked.
Sebago Lake is the main attraction and great swimming, fishing, and boating destination for glampers. There are also hiking trails surrounding the Lake and roadway paths for biking. The woodlands of Steep Falls Wildlife Management Area offer more hiking trails for intrepid glampers and are home to a diverse variety of wildlife. Furthermore, access to Sebago Lake is easy from the woodlands, where glampers can kayak and canoe during summer.
When winter comes, Shawnee Peak Ski Resort is a hot spot and offers day and night skiing as well as fabulous dining options on the mountain. For a change of scenery, glampers can head to Sebago Point and enjoy a round of golf. Additionally, the Naples History Society and Jones Museum offer fascinating tours and insight into the past.
