Weekend getaway in a tree house | Portland Maine

This tree house is set on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest, about 90 minutes drive from the coastal city of Portland, Maine, and it includes all the amenities needed to enjoy a private and adventure-filled escape for a small group or family.

The rental comes with a small, fully-equipped kitchen, so guests can enjoy their nights together in the luxury of their own tree house cabin. The loft is furnished with a double bed and there is a futon in the living room which can accommodate two additional guests. The property also has a full bathroom for guests.

The rental features a BBQ grill that takes one-pound propane tanks, which can either be bought on-site from the hosts or guests are welcome to bring it with them. The property also has a wraparound deck to truly enjoy the remarkable view from an elevated view in the trees. Other amenities at this glamping site include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a television.

Throughout the 18-hole disc golf course on-site, guests will throw from ledges over 15 feet high or from tee pads made from cobblestone. This glamping site has rustic hand-made log benches throughout the course—perfect for resting. With the course ending along the mountain ledges, players can truly enjoy Maine's natural beauty.
