This peaceful and cozy cottage rental is located on the shores of Halfmoon Lake in Alton, New Hampshire. The cottage can accommodate up to six guests, making it an excellent beachside retreat for couples, families, and small groups of friends.

In the master bedroom, couples can sleep on a queen-size bed and wake up each morning to a breathtaking sunrise over Halfmoon Lake. Children can sleep on a pair of twin bunk beds in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms include a dresser and a closet, and share access to a full bathroom. The bathroom comes with a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Guests must bring their own linens and towels.

In the living room, guests can relax on a nice leather sofa and watch a DVD on the TV. They can also curl up with a good book from the library in a pair of comfortable armchairs. The fully-equipped kitchen contains a fridge with a freezer, a stove and oven, a microwave, a toaster, a coffeemaker, and a tea kettle. Dishes and cooking utensils are provided. The dining table can seat up to four guests and offers lovely views of the woodlands and beach. There is additional seating for two at the breakfast bar.

Boat, canoe, and raft rentals are available for guests' use. Housekeeping is provided. Other amenities include heating and air conditioning, cable and satellite, Wi-Fi, board games, a stereo, and a telephone.

Outside, guests can fry their catch of the day on the gas barbecue and eat dinner at a picnic table under the shade of the pine trees enveloping the cottage. They can walk down to a private, white sand beach on Halfmoon Lake for a day of swimming and kayaking, or for a nice long evening stroll. Guests who bring their own boats will have access to a private docking station and a launch ramp on the lake.
