Given New England's climate, the types of activities guests can enjoy, depending on the season, but no matter the time of year, there are always many options to explore.

In the warmer months, guests can go hiking on the 50-mile Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway, Mount Monadnock, or one of the many trails at the Harris Center for Conservation Education. They can also swim, canoe, kayak, and fish in one of the eight lakes surrounding the town.

In the autumn, guests can enjoy the breathtaking New England foliage and attend one of the many fairs and festivals that are held during this season, such as the Keene Pumpkin Festival and the Cheshire County Fair.

In the winter, guests can skate on the lakes, go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing right from the B&B, or go downhill skiing at Granite Gorge Ski Area, Crotchet Mountain Ski Area, and Pat's Peak.

In the spring, guests can stop by one of the region's many sugarhouses and see for themselves (not to mention taste) how maple sap is transformed into delicious maple syrup.
