There are numerous ski resorts within an hour including Cannon Mountain, Loon Mountain, Bretton Woods, and Cranmore Mountain, among others. There is excellent downhill skiing and snowboarding, parks, sledding, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and snowshoeing at these resorts, along with nice restaurants to grab a bite to eat at.
