This cozy honeymoon cabin is perfect for a private romantic getaway. Sleeping up to two, the main room has a queen-size bed, a full sofa, a dining table, and a double glass atrium door. The bathroom has a vintage-style clawfoot tub and there is also a private outdoor shower for guests to enjoy. The fully equipped kitchen with an old-fashioned porcelain double sink, refrigerator, oven, and stove provide glampers with everything they will need to feel at home. The home comes supplied with organic towels, pillows, bed linens, soap, and hand lotion made from a local herd of 20 milking goats at a nearby farm. The Saco River is also nearby, offering numerous other activities for guests to enjoy on hot summer days. One hour and 30 minutes southeast of Pittsfield, New Hampshire, guests can explore one of the United State's most historic places, Boston, Massachusetts. Group meetings can be held in Midway, a roomy, spacious cabin. This cabin is usually open to all guests, but it can be reserved for an event at a rate of 100 dollars a day. Midway can also be supplied with additional tables and chairs at guests' request. Guests will not have to travel far to find the on-site, private sandy beach on pristine Wild Goose Pond. Swim out to the float or stay in the shallow water by the dock a perfect way to cool off during the long summer days. Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, rowboats, a sunfish, and a paddle boat are all available to guests free of charge. Two fire pits make ideal spots to relax in the evening. Hiking trails allow guests to explore the 300 acres of woodlands, where you can discover massive boulders, huge pine trees, sunny glades, beaver dams, and vernal pools. The glamping site is loaded with wildflowers and other native plants; there are over 400 native species on-site. Rustic benches are scattered throughout the property for a quick rest along the way.
Guests will also find the Children's Museum of New Hampshire and the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center a short drive away.
