This cozy honeymoon cabin is perfect for a private romantic getaway. Sleeping up to two, the main room has a queen-size bed, a full sofa, a dining table, and a double glass atrium door. The bathroom has a vintage-style clawfoot tub and there is also a private outdoor shower for guests to enjoy. The fully equipped kitchen with an old-fashioned porcelain double sink, refrigerator, oven, and stove provide glampers with everything they will need to feel at home. The home comes supplied with organic towels, pillows, bed linens, soap, and hand lotion made from a local herd of 20 milking goats at a nearby farm. Outside, guests can find an outdoor grill where they can cook up a storm under the stars. There is also a private swing set and hammock for a romantic couple to relax after a long day of adventure in Pittsfield, New Hampshire.
The gentle waterfront with a dock and a raft is a favorite spot for guests of all ages. Guests have access to a large private beach on pristine Wild Goose Pond. The spring-fed pond is very clean with a sandy bottom, extended dock, and floating raft a short swim away. Kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle-boards, rowboats, and a sailboat are all available to guests along with PFD's.
The two fire pits make ideal spots to relax in the evening. Hiking trails allow guests to explore the 300 acres of woodlands, with discovery of massive boulders, huge pine trees, sunny glades, beaver dams, and vernal pools. The glamping site is loaded with wildflowers and other native plants with over 400 native species on-site. Rustic benches are scattered throughout the property for a quick rest along the way.
There are numerous restaurants in the local area if guests would like to dine out, or guests can cook in the fully equipped kitchen or use the charcoal grill next to each cabin. The property is conveniently located one hour from the seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire, just over an hour to the White Mountains, and less than two hours from Boston. -
