Originally constructed in 1799, this updated and restored private barn rental is the perfect accommodation for those who can appreciate a bit of history during their glamping getaway. Located in a superb location that is in close proximity to mountain peaks, rivers, and forests, as well as in walking distance of the small town of Chester, this location is ideal for families or groups who are interested in exploring the best of what southern Vermont has to offer.
This barn can sleep up to 10 guests comfortably throughout the house. Guests can find one enclosed bedroom with that includes two single size beds that include two single size trundle beds, and a loft area that features the same bedroom setup. The enclosed bedroom is fitted with a full bathroom with an additional full-size bathroom in the upstairs hallway.
As guests make their way downstairs they will find the living, dining, and kitchen area that is made up of one open room. The living area has two sitting areas, one with upholstered sofas around the fireplace and the other on the opposite side is fitted with comfortable couches, cushioned chairs and a rocking chair around a flat-screen television.
Guests can find all necessary appliances they would need to prepare meals for themselves throughout their stay. An oven, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, a coffeemaker, and a toaster oven, along with dishes, cooking utensils, and cutlery can all be found in the kitchen. There is a dining table that has room for four people situated directly adjacent to the kitchen.
Outside, guests can enjoy the use of the elevated deck with patio furniture that overlooks the back yard.
This property is equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi, so guests can remain cool and connected throughout their stay. Linens and towels will be provided and are included in the overall fee. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a full kitchen, as well as an adjacent living room with a cozy fireplace. Outside guests can find a large porch with patio furniture.
