If you love the outdoors, hiking (or snowshoeing) on private trails to scenic overlooks and romantic waterfalls, sitting on the deck listening to the sounds of the brook below, lounging in the sparkling clean hot tub, out in a secret oasis of peace and quiet, you will love this glamping treehouse! Located in the woods, on the edge of a 60-foot cliff, and near Stowe Mountain and Smugglers' Notch Ski Resorts in Vermont, this unique, and romantic private getaway comes with three bedrooms, two with very comfortable queen-size beds and one with twin beds, sleeping up to six guests in total. The first-floor bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second-floor bedroom has twin beds. The third floor offers the master bedroom suite with a queen-size bed and half bath. The bathroom has a shower, a sink, and a toilet. Plentiful towels and linens are provided.

Up the spiral staircase to the fourth and fifth floors reading areas for glampers to relax in if they wish or look out at the amazing view. Throughout, there is plenty of seating and tables for guests to relax together with a game of cards, and there is Wi-Fi access for evening entertainment. The two televisions have Roku's set up so you can bring your Netflix, etc., passwords and watch a movie, or just watch the fire in the Hearthstone gas fireplace! The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything guests need to prepare their own meals, and even a dishwasher for easy cleaning up afterward. Additional amenities include central heating and a backup generator in case of a power outage.

Outside the house, there is wooden decking at the same level as the tree canopy. It's a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sunshine with the birds singing away and the sounds of the stream below. Guests absolutely adore the hot tub on deck too, perfect for sinking into after a busy day skiing. When sending a booking request, guests should send the host a note with a little information about their group, the number of people, what brings them to Vermont, and that they have read and understood the no smoking, no pets house rules (due to some family allergies we respectfully ask guests to adhere to that). Please note also, that with the open layout of the house and the cliffside location, The Vermont Treehouse really isn't suitable for little kids, sorry about that. Older ones will love it though!

Outdoorsy guests will find a private five-mile trail system, perfect for a summer picnic by one of the waterfalls, or a snowshoe through the Hemlock trees on the 'back 40'.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, we are happy to help you put together a wonderful getaway!

This is a non-smoking property and not suitable for very young children (older kids will love it!) The accommodation is also on the edge of a 60-foot cliff and includes a spiral staircase and several balconies. The result is a very unique and cool place, but not appropriate for little children to be let loose in.

Unique, fun, and probably unlike anything guests have ever experienced, this site offers plenty of fun activity on its own. Guests can relax in the hot tub or roll in the snow; this place is a getaway for the young at heart. There are many private trails, right from the door, which lead to plenty of nearby brooks and waterfalls. Guests can have a picnic at one of the many lakes, head to Smugglers' Notch State Park or enjoy a tranquil hike in Lamoille Valley. In the spring, summer, or fall, guests can bring (or rent) for a tour of the new Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, just a half mile down the road. Hikers will enjoy the well-known Long Trail or riding the gondola up to the top of Mount Mansfield. There's a place nearby that does dog sledding, and another place that gives carriage or trail rides. You can do all the things around the area or wander in the 160 acres of woods that surround the house and decompress. It's up to you!

The property is near Stowe, Smuggler's Notch, and Jay Peak Resorts. For cross country skiing, there is the Trapp Family Lodge, where guests can also book a sleigh or wagon ride, depending on the season, and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Vermont has also become renowned for its wineries and microbreweries. Definitely worth taking the time to tour them. There is so much to do in this little piece of heaven and every season is truly spectacular.
