This Swedish-inspired room rental is located near Lake Memphremagog in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and can accommodate two guests. There are twin Rittenhouse beds that were made in the 1940s and a private bathroom across the hall from the room. Guests will have a hairdryer and locally made Mountain Country Soaps for their use. There is also Wi-Fi in the room. The hosts provide a traditional Swedish breakfast selection of bread, cheeses, meats, yogurts, and much more, much of which is organic and grown locally.
Small/toy dogs may be allowed with a pre-screening for $25 per night.

Vermont has so much to offer—there is a whole range of outdoor activities that guests will thoroughly enjoy. A popular activity is cycling around the lake and other trails in the area, and bikes can be rented at 'The Great Outdoors,' which is only a five-minute walk away from the glamping site. Cruises of Lake Memphremagog are possible from "Northern Star Cruises," and some of these cruises offer dining on board. Clyde River Recreation offers paddling opportunities on the Clyde River and the south bay of Lake Memphremagog and will deliver kayaks and canoes to your location. A rail trail from downtown Newport extends along the lake to the border with Canada (6 miles) and is ideal for short bike trips and easy (flat terrain) hikes.
