Trapper Creek

Trapper Creek is known as the southern gateway to the incredible Denali State Park - so where better to make your base for your next glamping getaway? This town was founded in 1906 when gold was discovered and maintains a strong sense of that identity even today. In fact, you can head to the nearby Peters Creek, to go fishing for salmon and trout or even go panning for gold. Or for the more adventurous, head to the Dollar Creek Bridge for mountain biking and hiking on the numerous trails. Of course, Denali State Park is stunning, and make sure to spend a few days exploring the landscape, perhaps with a hike up the newly established Curry Ridge Trail? Keep your eyes peeled for deer, caribou, moose, and eagles as your explore!
