Activities

  • Biking
  • Climbing

During guests' stay at this glamping site, they'll be in the perfect place for a bit of yoga, water sports and, of course, surfing. The site has boards for guests to use for kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding, and more. The resident surfers can help guests find the best places and best waves to maximize their time in the water. And if guests would like to do a bit of yoga, there is a large communal yoga deck overlooking the ocean. Glampers can also borrow one of the bicycles and take off on the four-mile path along the beach. Or, if glampers prefer to go without the bike, they can just put on their running shoes and enjoy the incredible running and hiking trails. If that’s not guests' thing, they could also go golfing at the local course in Kahuku or even the world-famous Turtle Bay Resort.

Other activities guests will be able to do while staying at this island tree house include helicopter tours, horseback riding, kayaking, whale watching, and sightseeing. Guests could also go for a lagoon swim or go to a traditional luau.

Nearby guests will find downtown Haleiwa, which is just seven miles away, where guests can find nice spa services, cool surf shops, and lots of local gear. Glampers will also find a lot of different types of restaurants downtown—everything from sushi, Thai, Italian, and Mexican, to local cuisine. If guests really want to go all out, there’s a bar with live music and dancing, too.

Additional Information

There is no minimum stay at this glamping site (unless booking far in advance). September through April, which has good weather for surfing and spectating, is a great time to visit this glamping site. The summer months are usually a bit calmer wave wise, and glampers can plan to spend their days, swimming, tanning, stand-up paddle boarding, or even doing some wind sports. If guests are planning on coming in the months of November through February, they should make their reservation early because it tends to book up quickly for world championship surf contests.

There is no smoking allowed. If guests want to invite friends over to drink and make noise, this place is not for them. Read More
