This beautiful 700 square-foot yurt in Hawaii can sleep up to six guests. Like most yurts, it offers an open concept living, kitchen, and sleeping space. It provides one king-size bed, one double bed, and one sofa bed. There are also two comfortable couches that are not sofa beds, but guests can use them for sleeping with additional sheets, sleeping bags, covers and pillows offered by the host. There is a full bathroom, which is directly alongside the yurt and complete with a hot shower, a flush toilet, and a mirror. It is lit by a skylight and provides guests with a solar-powered lamp for nighttime use.

The kitchen is well-appointed with a two-burner stove, a coffeemaker, cooking utensils, and a grill. There is a magnificent grand deck with ocean views, as well as portable chairs for outdoor seating.

The Ka'u District boasts vast unspoiled nature, small island communities, botanical gardens, and close proximity to the Big Island's southernmost beaches. The recent lava flow near Pahoa is a safe 40-minute drive away. Lastly, the Kailua or Kona Airport is one hour and 15 minutes south of this property.

Just an hour away, guests can explore Kona with all of its beaches and activities and enjoy exploring lava tunnels. Additionally, guests can go off-roading, fishing, shopping, and kayaking.

Guests can sip some wine or some freshly brewed tea as the sun sets, cook up a favorite meal on the propane stove and get ready for the best show on the Island—the stars. Guests can lie back on the deck or view them from inside the yurt through the circular skylight.
