Welcome to a quiet area of Big Bear City, surrounded by mature trees and close to everything Big Bear has to offer. This updated modern gambrel-style home has everything you need to enjoy the mountains.

Please note that both bedrooms are located upstairs. The stairs to the upper level are steep and unavoidable.

The Home: This 1,244-square-foot, updated modern gambrel-style home features waterproof wood-look flooring on the main level and carpeting upstairs. It has two bedrooms, a mini sleeping loft area, and two bathrooms (one on each level). There are also two decks/patios, including one off the primary bedroom.

Animals of any sort are not allowed on this property. This is due to the owners being allergic to even the most hypoallergenic animals. There are no exceptions. For service animals, please reach out so we can find the right home for you.

Bedroom 1 (Primary): Queen bed, Smart TV, nightstands, lamps, sitting bench, closet, access to a private deck, wood-burning fireplace (no wood is provided), and ceiling fan. Please note that there is no patio furniture at this time.

Bedroom 2: Two tandem queen beds, matching nightstands, a small sofa, and a ceiling fan.

Sleeping Loft/Office: Built-in bunk bed (twin/twin), small desk with office chair, small TV screen (Roku), and two beanbag chairs.

We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton rounds, Q-tips, and floss picks. We also provide 1 hand towel and 2 washcloths per bathroom. Six bath towels are provided. These are not for lake use, so please bring extra towels for the lake. A minimum of 2 rolls of toilet paper are provided per bathroom. More may be left depending on the number of guests and duration of stay. If you use large amounts of toilet paper, please bring extra.

Bathroom 1 (Main Level): Tiled shower with a single vanity and makeup counter area.

Bathroom 2 (Second Level, in Loft Area): Shower/tub combo with a single vanity.

Kitchen: Full-size fridge, gas stove, and dishwasher to help you create wonderful meals. If you prefer takeout, no worries! The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishware, cookware, and bakeware. Please note that we do not provide Tupperware. Plastic wrap is provided. A starter pack of paper towels and trash bags is provided, along with dish soap, coffee grounds, and sugar. Island seating is available for 3, with access to a small back patio.

Coffee Setup: 12-cup drip coffee maker and Keurig. We provide a starter pack of coffee grounds, pods, and sugar.

Dining: Located within view of the kitchen and living room, with seating for 6 at the dining table (4 chairs and a bench).

Living Room: Large L-shaped couch with plenty of space for lounging and an ottoman, two sling chairs, and a side table. A large Smart TV is available for logging into your favorite streaming apps. There is also a wood-burning fireplace and a limited selection of games. The entry area provides space for coats and shoes.

Fireplaces: Wood-burning fireplaces are located in the primary bedroom and living room. We do not provide wood. It can be purchased and delivered to the home (seasonal; 24-hour notice is recommended), or you can purchase it at many places in town. If there is wood left behind, feel free to use it!

Laundry Area: Stacked washer and dryer located in the closet behind the dining table, next to the coffee bar. We provide laundry pods.

Front Deck: Patio chairs are provided. Cushions are available seasonally due to weather and critters. The deck is covered by the upper deck of the primary bedroom patio. Please note that there is no grill.

Parking: Concrete driveway/parking for a maximum of 2 vehicles. You may need AWD or 4x4 during the winter months.

Heating: Central heating and two wood-burning fireplaces.

Guest Access

There are two areas of the property you will not have access to: the loft closet and the under-stairs closet.

Other Things to Note

We believe that expectations for both hosts and guests are best met when things are clear. Here are a few things to note.

Please respect our neighbors. It’s a very quiet street, and we know most of our neighbors.

Violation of the restrictions will result in eviction without a refund.

All requests to change dates must be made a minimum of 14 days before your stay. Prices may change due to a change of date.

We want you to have the best experience possible so you’ll come back to visit us again soon. Here are some tips on how to avoid some of the common complaints we receive about short-term rentals. The number one rule to remember is that being a vacation home renter also means being a good neighbor.

Parking (2)
All short-term renters must park on the rental property. No street parking is allowed. The number of approved spaces for your rental can be found on the information posted inside the unit.

Noise
We know you have good taste in music, but your neighbors might not. Please turn down the volume and keep all noise to a minimum. Guests are advised to adhere to quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Pets (Not an Animal-Friendly Home)
Pets are required to be leashed or kept in an enclosed area on the property at all times. Dogs are required to be licensed. Barking or other animal noise may result in noise complaints.

Trash
Please place all trash in approved containers. Ensure containers are closed to keep animals out. Do not place trash bags or other uncontained trash anywhere on the property.

Occupancy (6)
Exceeding the occupancy limit could result in expulsion from the rental, fines, or both. The approved number of people allowed in the unit can be found on the information posted inside the unit.

Prohibited Uses
Short-term rentals may not be used for commercial purposes, such as filming, corporate retreats, conferences, or wedding receptions.

Complaints
The County operates a 24-hour hotline where residents can report short-term rental violations. All complaints are investigated and can result in a $1,000 citation.
