Found in the quiet, pastoral Catheys Valley in northern California is this Yosemite cottage for two—just down the road from the beautiful Yosemite National Park. This makes for an elegant getaway for couples looking to stay away from the crowds. Inside the cottage is one bedroom with a queen bed and a three-quarter bathroom with a shower. The outdoor soaking tub and outdoor shower lends for a full immersion into the tranquil setting of the valley. The living room is equipped with comfy seating, as well as a satellite television and WiFi. A kitchenette also boasts plenty of crockery and cutlery, in addition to a small two-burner electric stove. Guests can enjoy incredible scenic views, in every direction, while staying at the property.

Air conditioning and heating keep things cozy all year round, and all towels and linens are provided by the hosts. We do our own cleaning and have always cleaned and wiped down all surfaces with anti viral and antibacterial cleaners between guest stays. All linens are washed in hot water settings. The main thing we have done is to not book back to back stays and there is a minimum of 28 hours between guest stays.

Less than a mile from the property is the Stone House, where artist John Muir and former president Theodore Roosevelt stayed during their work at Yosemite, making for a historical connection to the ranch's past.
