Coronado

Coronado is a remarkable place to visit. Perched in San Diego Bay, it can’t decide whether it’s island or peninsula, but visitors to these beautiful shores will be blown away by the Pacific and Bay views, as well as the wondrous array of marine wildlife and spectacular photography opportunities. Just across the bay lie the tiny and welcoming parks around Old Point Loma lighthouse and the Point Loma Tide Pools and, a little closer to home, the Coronado Tidelands Park and Beach are great spots to kick back and relax for the day. San Diego is close by, with its zoo and the stunning Balboa Park to explore, and there are some great golf clubs nearby.
