Glampers here can make easy day trips to visit Yosemite Valley and the surrounding area and make the most of all the outdoor activities on offer at this beautiful forested region of the U.S. Major cities of San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Jose are under two and a half hours from this resort, and the nearby Gold Rush towns of Groveland and Columbia are certainly worth a visit.

Guests can spend time exploring Yosemite National Park, which is 22 miles from the Wester Gate. Currently a reserved Day Pass must be purchased on-line. No purchase is available at the gate. The nearby Gold Rush Town of Columbia is a State Park and has many events throughout the year. Glampers may be eligible to a discount on their rental costs. Senior citizens, those in the military, and members of the American Automobile Association or Good Sam can enjoy a 10% discount. There is a 15% discount for guests who book a minimum of five sites at one time, and there are also consecutive day discounts: 15% off for seven day stay; 20% off for 14 days; 25% for 21 days; and finally 30% off for 28 days.

Pets are welcome, although dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and guests must clean up after them. A $25.00 non-refundable pet-cleaning fee will be charged for up to two dogs.
