Wanderwood - Peaceful, Tastefully Decorated Cabin | Guerneville, California

Cabin in Guerneville, CA

6 guests • 1 bedroom • 1 bed • 1 bathroom

Escape into the Trees:
Imagine soaking in a private hot tub tucked inside a fairy ring of ancient redwoods, stars overhead, the scent of the forest all around you. That's a beautifully restored craftsman home that blends old-soul character with modern comfort, just minutes from downtown Guerneville and the Russian River.

Guests consistently call it one of their favorite stays ever. It's easy to see why.

The Space:
This spans two levels and is full of thoughtful details: vintage light fixtures, antique glass windows, reclaimed old-growth redwood trim, and period brass doorknobs. This is a home with real soul.

Upstairs is your social hub — a fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room, a sun-drenched office (great for remote workers), a cozy living room with wood stove, and access to the expansive main deck with views of the Russian River Valley. The deck is made for morning coffee, evening wine, and stargazing late into the night.

Downstairs is where you decompress — three private bedrooms, a second living room with mini-split A/C and heat, and a newly remodeled full bathroom. Perfect for groups who want to spread out without losing that together feeling.

The hot tub, set into a grove of redwoods just steps from the back deck, is the crown jewel. Guests rave about it in every review — rainy weekend, summer night, or crisp fall evening, it never disappoints. The new hillside deck overlooks the home and offers an excellent lounge space shaded by redwoods.

Who It's Perfect For:
~ Friend groups who want a gorgeous home base for wine country and river adventures.
~ Families with a dog — the front yard is fully fenced and the setup is kid-friendly.
~ Remote workers who want to actually enjoy where they're working from (dedicated desk, monitor, fast WiFi).
~ Couples or small groups looking for a romantic, private escape without roughing it.
