    Services

Guests can rent fishing boats and kayaks right on the property during their stay for a tranquil trip on the lake, either to spend the afternoon quietly catching trout or kayaking up and down the river, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Why not rent a boat overnight and camp at a remote campsite around the lake. There are many to choose from - just ask the staff in the office and they will be happy to help. Prices vary depending on the size and type of fishing boat you wish to rent, and for how long. Boats are not allowed on the lake after 7pm or before 7am due to the lack of running lights. Boats must be returned by 7pm unless you have rented the boat for an extended stay. There is a $10 fee if you'd like to rent overnight. A two-person Kayak is $55 per day or $35 per half day

Horseback riding is also a popular activity. Take a guided day ride into the backcountry and explore the National Parks. Guests can drive up the road about a mile to the High Sierra Pack Station. The hosts also accommodate overnight and longer trips to the many lakes and streams surrounding Lake Edison. Prices range from $25.00 for an hour to half-day and all-day rides. Read More

Few spots offer such superb opportunities for fishing as this lake. With the 15-mile per hour speed limit for boats, it's easy to enjoy the peaceful setting. The crystal clear water and legendary trout fishing make this the ultimate destination for avid fishermen. Brook and golden trout are found in Cold Creek and Mono Creek, which are the two primary streams that feed into Edison Lake. Bear Creek is a popular fishing stream and is located just a short car ride away.
