This 1,200-square-foot cottage accommodation can sleep up to six people comfortably, making it perfect for a family or group looking for the ideal glamping stay near Yosemite in California. The owner specializes in sustainable design and the home reflects many sustainable techniques with the environment in mind. The home features straw bale insulation and solar panels that preheat the hot water heater which power the radiant floor heating system ensuring guests a cozy and comfortable stay. The cottage boasts stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, while the many windows let in natural light and are fitted with window seats, so guests can sit with their morning coffee and look out at the spectacular mountain views. Additionally, guests can find two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed with a private bathroom, making it an ideal home for two couples as no one needs to choose who gets the master bedroom. In the living room, there is a lovely window seat, which has a twin XL memory foam mattress and a trundle twin bed below.

The kitchen has everything guests would need to prepare meals for themselves during their stay, such as a four ring gas stove, a blender, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, and a toaster. The dining area sits between double aspect windows which are perfect for guests to watch the sunset as the enjoy a delicious meal.

Outside, guests can enjoy the spectacular views towards the Merced River Canyon on the spacious deck with a dining area to enjoy lovely meals while sharing stories of adventures in Yosemite and the surrounding area.

Guests can relax and take in the stunning views on the outdoor decking where they can dine al fresco after preparing a meal on the BBQ. For cozy nights in there is Wi-Fi, a video library and DVD player for guests use. Guests can also use internet streaming where they can enjoy a range of films on Netflix and Amazon Prime together. All towels and bed linens are provided. There is also a washing machine, a clothes dryer, and an iron and board.

Guests can stargaze at night, try their hand at a game of horseshoe and photograph a beautiful sunset without having to even leave the property. Venturing out for the day guests can head east to Yosemite National Park which is open all year round. There they can explore one of the 750 of trails on foot, on horseback or on two wheels. Yosemite is also a wonderful spot for rock climbing, birdwatching, and fishing. In June and July, guests can rent a raft and go rafting on the Merced River. For those arriving in winter can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, sledding and ice-skating.
